How do you structure your saved links so you can actually find them later?

I realized recently my bookmark bar is basically a graveyard of articles and tools I thought I’d read later. It’s reached the point where searching through them takes longer than just Googling the page again.
Really want to avoid adding another subscription service just to organize web links.
What simple habits or native browser tricks are you using to clear out links you don't need anymore?

A plain links.txt file on my desktop. typing the URL manually forces me to only save stuff i actually need.
One pinned Inbox page in free Notion. Links go in as bullets and i sweep or delete them every sunday.
Rename bookmarks with search keywords when saving (e.g., Tool - Background Remover). Makes address bar search instant.
