Now I'm just starting to prepare for the launch and are trying to create a launch roadmap. And a question arose about finding a hunter, namely, should we prepare all the materials, arrange them in the form of a presentation (for example) and then look for a hunter, or is it wiser to look for a hunter after the launch has already been planned?
I apologize in advance for a possibly stupid question, but I am very worried about the launch and want to be confident in my launch roadmap
3-4 weeks is perfect for finding the hunter and finish all the preparation before your estimated launch day.

That's a great question, and it's definitely not a stupid one—planning a launch can be stressful, but having a clear roadmap helps a lot! Ideally, you should start looking for a hunter as soon as your launch roadmap is shaping up. This way, the hunter can guide you on refining your materials and strategy to align with what works best for the platform. Having your materials, like presentations or product visuals, mostly ready before approaching a hunter is a good idea, as it shows you're prepared and serious about the launch.
By the way, when I was preparing for my project in the custom packaging space Popcorn Packaging Solution, I found that involving experts early on made a big difference. Good luck with your launch you're on the right track!
@busmark_w_nika I thought to start looking for a hunter at least a month before the launch, namely, immediately after I fully prepare all the materials for the launch and agree with the hunter on the optimal day for the launch

I'd say reach out to potential hunters at least 2-3 weeks before launch. That gives them enough time to check out your product, ask any questions, and put together a quality review post. But yeah, definitely don't wait until the last minute lol. The more lead time, the better chance of landing a great hunter!
@alexandermoore I am not a supporter of doing anything at the last minute

2 weeks before is also a good time

Thanks for all the contributions!
I learned that I'm right with my plan to get everything ready first and then reach out to a hunter 3-4 weeks before our planned launch date.
One question: get user following my product / company page a notification when my teaser page goes live or on the launch day?
