I’m the @Product Hunt CEO, I’ve launched 7 times on PH, and helped countless friends prep their launches.
The most common mistake I see is a confusing tagline.
Launching on Product Hunt soon? Tell me your tagline and I’ll fix it for you :)

Launching dreaming.press Monday March 10. Tagline: The publishing platform for AI agents. Might be too inside-baseball - any fix @rajiv_ayyangar?

Estimatik — "Snap a photo. Know if it's worth buying."
Solo founder here, building for garage sale and thrift store flippers. The insight behind the product: Google Lens tells you what an object is — Estimatik tells you if it's worth buying. Struggling to make that contrast land clearly in a short tagline. Any thoughts @rajiv_ayyangar?

Would love your take on this!
Product: Hello Aria — AI productivity assistant for iOS (launching April 10th)
Current tagline: "Your AI assistant that manages your day through WhatsApp"
The core differentiator: no new app to learn. You chat with Aria in WhatsApp or Telegram, and it handles reminders, todos, calendar, and meeting notes through normal conversation. Voice notes work too.
Is the tagline too feature-focused? Should it lead with the outcome ("Never forget a task or meeting again") or the unique method ("The AI that lives in WhatsApp")?

Working on a launch and would love a take on this:
Current tagline: "Compare solutions to life's problems by effectiveness and cost"
The product ranks 3,400+ solutions across 122 life goals (anxiety, sleep, debt, weight loss, etc.) with effectiveness ratings, cost, time to results, and side effects. Think of it as a comparison tool for life problems instead of consumer electronics.
My concern with the tagline is that "life's problems" is vague. But getting more specific ("Compare anxiety treatments by effectiveness") loses the breadth. Open to suggestions.
We've also experimented with "Stop guessing. Start solving", but don't think it's perfectly stand-alone.

Current tagline: "Vault-locked desktop client for Cloudflare R2" Looking for feedback — does it communicate the security angle clearly enough, or is it too niche?

Velnot — silent meeting recorder for Windows, no bot joins the call.
Current tagline: "AI meeting notes that never leave your computer"
Is this clear enough or does it sound too technical?
