Sunny, it's unfortunate but not uncommon; reciprocity can sometimes be a one-way street, especially in large communities. My approach is to continue supporting others regardless, as the right connections will reciprocate when it truly matters.

I connected on Linkedin with one of those people and promptly unfollowed as soon as I realized what he was trying to do. Other people I connected to were really helpful and I'm glad we connected.

It's definitely a two-way street, Sunny. I've noticed that genuine engagement tends to build more reliable connections, who are there to support when you reach out.
