Some PH connections seek our support, but when we ask for support from them, they become invisible

Reciprocity is certainly key in building a strong community on platforms like Product Hunt; however, it's not uncommon to encounter one-sided interactions. My approach is to continue offering support where I can, while nurturing relationships with those who demonstrate mutual engagement and support.

Let me know about your launch, I'll be sure to familiarize myself with your product. I don't guarantee 100% support, only if I like your product. That's fair. I may also not see a post on LinkedIn - this happens less often. And yes, I usually come across great tools here, many of which I use. That's why I show up here so often )

I've experienced this as well, and it can be demotivating.

It's true that I've experienced this, and to be completely honest, I want to criticise a few launches and tell people not to give them the upvotes 🤧

It seems like a one-way street sometimes. Building a genuine community should be about mutual support and growth. Let's aim for more collaboration and less ghosting.
