What if having more tools is actually making us worse at building?

I have noticed that sometimes I spend more time deciding which tool to use than actually doing the thing.

There is an interesting point where having options stops feeling useful and starts creating friction. I am curious if anyone else has felt this, especially with how quickly new AI and productivity tools keep showing up.

At what point does your toolkit become a distraction?
