For hiring remote developers -
Definitely check out www.remotemore.com
P.S. I may be slightly biased as I'm the founder - but I think it's the best by far!
Tidycal - everything I needed from Calendly but in 1 simple lifetime fee.
Hnry - for Australasian independent contractors; automatically deducts tax and files/pays it on your behalf. I think similar things exist for other regions. I ditched a lot of popular and fancy invoicing/expense recording systems before settling here -- Hnry had less functionality and there are some features I miss from other tools, but it solved a much bigger problem for me which was getting my taxes done on time and only spending money that was "mine". Added all that context cos I reckon it's a common mistake -- adding more features instead of solving a bigger problem.
This Safari extension lets you magically check the Careers page with open positions on almost any company website. It's a super clever tool in this job market: https://underplot.com/got-jobs

1. nodeping.com - easy to use monitoring tool. $15 for 200 checks. Availability testing from the outside. Many supported protocols.
2. onesignal - for email & push messages.
3. make.com - no code & excellent prototyping tool.
4. Apps Script from google (https://script.google.com/). Recently realized how many cool things you can do with it. I've made a short script that saves all the attachments to specific google drive folder. Deployed yesterday and works well.
5. gatsby + prismic.io for super fast static sites.
6. quicksight by amazon. do prefer it over power bi, looker, etc. fast, easy to use and still powerful.
7. anydesk - performs way better than teamviewer.
8*. www.yohn.io is a product that allows you to shorten long URLs into shorter ones. It is powered by AWS serverless technology, and you can deploy it to your own AWS account with a one-time license fee. Alternatively, you can use the subscription-based SaaS version where we will deploy it for you.
9. KeePassXC - password manager, offline, works better than the original keepass.

I actually use my app "aimbod: workout tracker" to keep records of my workouts. It's has no ads and simple to use. Most of the popular alternatives are either complex or slow or has ads

One tool that works while I'm doing other things is Gated. Email is a huge distraction for me, Gated cuts out the noise of unsolicited email, letting folks I know or who I want to hear from reach my inbox.
