I prioritize play in the morning. I wake up at least an hour before I need to work and I play whatever PC game I'm currently enjoying. This helps me wake my brain up and it helps me feel better after a day where I end up working long and don't have play time later which otherwise could lead more quickly to burnout or resentment. It has also turned me from someone who hates mornings to someone who enjoys them (assuming I get to have my routine).

Wake up, start work asap. I learned that to get into flow state you have to start working as soon as possible

Mornings aren't my best, as I'm more of an owl. But 10 mins of a silence with a sip of coffee - my guilty pleasure
