What is a tool you were genuinely excited about that just did not work out?

I do not mean a product that was overhyped or a launch that fizzled out. I mean something you personally got excited about, signed up for, maybe even recommended to a friend, and then quietly abandoned a few weeks later.

For me, it was a note-taking app I found on Product Hunt a while back. The design was beautiful, the concept made complete sense, and I really wanted it to be the tool that finally organized my thoughts. After a week, though, I realized I was spending more time tweaking settings and organizing layouts than actually writing anything. I ended up going right back to Apple Notes.
