8-10:30 AM tends to be the sweet spot where I'm well-rested and ready to engage with analytical deep work. Nighttime tends to be the best for reflective writing/correspondence. I like fitting the meetings in between and can brainstorm or chat then (as long as the meeting has a set agenda/purpose).

My most productive working hours are from 9pm (after the kids are in bed) until whatever time at night I can manage, typically midnight or 1am.
Rucha Joshi
@rickfiyah and were your productivity timings different when you or the kids were able to step out for school or office - pre pandemic?
Ricky Charpentier
@rucha_joshi8 Not really, no. I try to keep to a schedule because that works best for my productivity. Of course I have to be flexible because things always come up, but I know pretty reliably that once the kids are in bed, I'll be able to get work done because they won't get up.

i would say around 10 am will be my most production period of day :)
Rucha Joshi
@jacobkao Pretty ideal actually. you can get meetings done as well then.

Definitely the night. The most quiet time when it’s much easier to relax and concentrate on something.
Rucha Joshi
@visionoiry Thanks for sharing. Do you work with a team?
Jan Leonovich
@rucha_joshi8 Yes. Now we are working on Melink web application as an alternative to cardboard business cards.

Rucha Joshi
@tarek_besbes Woah, is that your daily routine?
Tarek Besbes
@rucha_joshi8 Pretty Much Every Day For Last Few Years (God Knows How Long).

Early mornings, when there are very few distractions. Far easier to focus and get important work done.
Rucha Joshi
@deepskimming I hear you. Lots of people in this thread are early birds.

Always AM. Waking up full of energy, later required to put some petrol in. (Coffee) Otherwise Lunchtime nap tackles me. :D
Rucha Joshi
@michael_maximillian_moss post lunch naps when the task load allows are a great way to break up the day into productive units.

If I manage to go to bed early, and thus wake up early - 6 to 10 am are the best times.
