Did you know that using a computer for more than 2 hours per day increases your chances of developing wrist pain? Carpio 2.0 is an ergonomic accessory that helps you boost your productivity while reducing the risk of developing wrist injuries.
It's a great product, but too expensive for what it does. Also the company selling it are cheapskates who give you free delivery codes then tell you your country doesn't qualify. And I mean EU to EU shipping. Very sketchy, also extremely clickbaity and spammy newsletter since they have basically 3 products and they just spam you. But the product is useful, if you're willing to spend. I'm on my 2nd at the moment, had to switch the first after a few years.
👋 Hey, Jan here!
I’m the CEO and Co-Founder of DeltaHub. Today is kind of a big deal for us. Just over two years ago, we were 21-year-old creatives without the smallest clue what is about to happen.
Amadej, UX Designer, was at the time working in a marketing agency as a graphic designer, and was often the last person to leave the office finishing up the client work. He started suffering from immense wrist pain, one of the late symptoms of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome... Yeah, shi*t... We couldn't just sit there and do nothing about it. And that's how the story of DeltaHub started. Carpio 2.0 is our flagship product, an ergonomic wrist rest designed to help you avoid wrist injuries related to computer mouse usage by improving your wrist position & gliding together with your hand. ✋🏽 The ergonomic shape of the pads was achieved by 3D scanning of several hand molds and further refinement with the help of medical experts. 👩🏼⚕️
We believe that in order to be productive and feel inspired in one's office, it's first important to feel comfortable at your desk setup — that's why we are on the mission of improving workplace wellbeing every where.
**HOW IS IT DIFFERENT FROM OTHER WIRST RESTS?**
In most cases, other wrist rests like gel pads don’t provide any significant ergonomic benefit and usually increase the risk by:
1. Applying the pressure to the underside of the wrist, or carpal tunnel to be more precise, and compressing the tissues, slowing down blood supply...
2. Fixing your wrist position, which causes additional stress for your wrist as you are forced to move the mouse by rotating/flexing your wrist instead of using your whole arm and shoulder (larger, stronger muscles)
And that's why Carpio:
- reinforces that pressure from the wrist to the lower palm (thenar and hypothenar part), so actually, it's a palm rest rather than a wrist rest
- lifts your wrist for about a centimeter to reduce the harmful extension
- and it glides together with your hand and enables the user to maintain the natural arm and shoulder motion.
I'm so excited to launch here on PH! ❤️
my girlfriend bought me one of these for birthday! apparently she thinks I spend way too much time on my computer and should at least make it comfortable. I must admit, once I got used to Carpio I can't work without it!
Can't believe these guys are on here! Carpio is a type of product that once you get use to it, you can't live without it. If you work long hours in front of a computer it's basically a must-have! Awesome job guys!
@nikzujo Thanks Nik! What was the best project you worked on while having Carpio by your side?

@forst it's hard to just mention one 😅 Let's just say building a whole company 😁 Anyway, I could say I've been an early adopter having bought Carpio 1.0, but now that I have a Carpio 2.0, it's basically a game changer 💪🏼
@nikzujo Damn, I didn't expect such an inspiring reply haha 😅 All beginnings are tough, I'm sure you know that already, there were a lot of things to improve with the 1.0... But I'm proud that 2.0 is basically perfect now

This company is what we didn't know we needed! Their products are amazing! Especially Carpio 2.0 and don't get me started on their marketing. The fact that I'm getting so excited everytime i get an email from them is UNREAL! keep up the good work guys🖤
Carpio is finally on Product Hunt!
Although I really like my MBP trackpad, I'm still a quite heavy mouse user: the carpal tunnel is indeed a PITA! My wrists are feeling more loose just by thinking of Carpio - awesome product, can't wait to see more of you guys in the future, keep up the stellar work! 💪
@blendorwhat It actually depends on the laptop but it defo works with MBP!

Been using the 1.0 version for more than a year and I am very impressed. From build quality perspective its the same as when I bought it and from usage perspective it feels completely natural I especially like that I can easily slide from mouse to keyboard and back.
