What questions do you have about A.I. that you're too embarrassed to ask?

by
Hi all. Sarah here, Head of Content @ Product Hunt. I'm starting up a new article series in our AI newsletter, Deeper Learning, called Ask Kitty. It's a place where you can ask the questions you've been wondering about A.I. but have been too shy to ask. Why? One thing I've learned about A.I. is that a lot of people in tech assume you know a lot of things, and very few people actually know the things (or know them in-depth enough to explain them simply). Sometimes this dynamic prevents us from asking questions. And asking questions is one of the best ways to reduce our knowledge gap. And yes, you could ask ChatGPT, but based on my experience you're unlikely to get the full context you need. Not only will I work to answer your questions, I'll work to find the right people to help me answer them! So ask away!

Hi ! Sarah Wright. As you said, you are starting up a new article series which is based on Ai, deep learning and other like that. Here, I would like to say instead of embarrassed ,i am scared because in future people will use ai to commit fraud with other people and no. of Jobs will be reduce because ai will complete bulk task within a short time. On that time unemployment will increase like a rocket.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is set to revolutionize every aspect of our lives. From healthcare and education to transportation and entertainment, AI's integration will lead to smarter, more efficient systems. It will enhance personalized experiences, optimize resource use, and open up new possibilities in problem-solving and innovation. However, it's crucial to address ethical considerations and ensure equitable access to its benefits. Overall, AI promises to significantly reshape our daily lives, offering both challenges and opportunities. https://is.gd/IFx45D

I love this idea! It's so important to create spaces where we can ask questions without feeling embarrassed. Looking forward to the insights in the AI newsletter, Ask Kitty!

Fantastic topic @sarah_wright7 ! It’s essential to create a space where everyone feels comfortable asking any question about AI, no matter how basic or complex. AI is a rapidly evolving field, and there's always something new to learn. Here are some common questions I’ve encountered that might resonate with others: - What exactly is AI, and how does it differ from machine learning and deep learning? - How do AI algorithms make decisions, and can they explain their reasoning? - Are AI systems truly 'intelligent,' or are they just following complex programming? - What are the ethical implications of AI, especially concerning data privacy and bias? - How can non-technical professionals leverage AI in their work? By openly discussing these questions, we can start demystifying AI and make it more accessible to everyone. I'm particularly excited about the practical applications of AI, like in our latest project, where we simplify the process of generating custom stock photos using AI. Looking forward to hearing more questions and diving into these discussions!

My biggest question is: Will we end up with an echo chamber? Hear me out: We built (LLMs) with internet data Now we use them to a-masse generate more data We continue to train our LLMs on the new internet data Now we do this loop for a couple of years What happens next? Will we end up with AI and available knowledge that echoes what's been said over and over? Oh and I am curious: in this scenario, do we end up with all models training on each others data and eventually ending up with only the "weights" in each parameter to be the differentiating factor?

Hi Sarah, My question is: do you think AI can replace human? Is there anything AI can't do?

I love the idea of Ask Kitty in Deeper Learning! It's great to have a safe space to ask those burning A.I. questions in a simple, understandable way.

Hi Sarah, I'm glad at least you've courage to answer questions about A.I. The following are my some questions about A.I can you answer them: 1-What exactly is artificial intelligence (A.I.)? 2-How does machine learning differ from artificial intelligence? 3-What is a neural network, and why is it important in A.I.? 4-Can A.I. really learn and improve on its own? 5-How do algorithms make decisions, and what does "training" an algorithm mean? 6-What are some real-world applications of A.I. that I might interact with daily? 7-Is A.I. as advanced as science fiction makes it seem? 8-How does natural language processing (NLP) work, and what are its limitations? 9-What is the difference between supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning? 10-Why do A.I. systems sometimes make mistakes or produce biased results? I'm doing research about A.I, for this I've seen different You Tube video through video downloading software, like https://snaptubie.com/ but my concepts are not clear, please please answer my questions.

Do I need to put disclaimers about AI facts and potential hallucinations? My app releasing soon will generate facts for users.
