What's your favorite perk of WFH?

byβ€’
Hey, hunters! Many of us work from home or in a hybrid system. If that's your case: what's your favorite perk of working from home? My top reasons: - Wearing comfy clothes πŸ‘” - Avoiding the commute 🚌 - Being able to travel! ✈️ I'm currently in Europe for a month, and that wouldn't have been possible if I worked in-office.

While you're free you can just do other stuff or even take a nap πŸ™Œ

being able to travel is good indeed - i worked and lived from Crete for some months. Comfy clothes : thats tricky. The good thing about "formal" clothes is that they keep you sharp. If you wear sweatpants all day you might miss the alarm bell of having put more weight (this happened to me). Commute: also tricky. I have found that sticking to some type of routine is actually helpful for me. Especially of you walk or cycle to the office, this is a good part of your exercise that you would need to find ways to replace. So what i enjoy is working in co-working spaces (they address the social element as well). but enough with the challenges :) My top reason is flexibility i guess.

My favorite perk of WFH is cutting down my travel expenses.

For me it’s all about flexibility and the ability to get work done during the times of the day when my brain works best. I also love not loosing quality work time to commuting!

For me honestly it's being able to work sync but also async- and do my best work during whatever hours I'm more productive

This one is easy for me - I can take a 15min while on work, instead of a classic pause. Basically I get paid for sleeping :)
