Which Chrome Extensions can you not live without?

byβ€’
I love chrome extensions! They make some of my tasks super easy. I add/remove extensions regularly, but these are some of them which I can't remove for sure. - Grammarly: Extraordinary help while writing anything from emails to blogs. - Dashlane: Can never remember my passwords. - Pocket: Best way to not lose the articles I want to read later. - Loom: Video version of "This meeting could've been an email". I love to quickly record screens and send it to my teammates. - Wappalyzer: When I want to know the tech stack on which a website is built on. - Honey: Of course! Which girl doesn't like good shopping deals. 😊 And while you’re here, Check out our product Supademo. A simple Chrome Extension helps you create interactive product demos in minutes. We have launched on Product hunt!! πŸš€ We would love to see your love and support.πŸ’œ https://www.producthunt.com/post... Edit - Adding the most suggested extensions received in the comments. 1. SEMrush SEO Writing Assistant (https://tinyurl.com/seowritingas... Here is our superstar, who doesn't appreciate SEMrush? Their SEO writing assistant add on is a life saver for content creators. Still, I like to finalize my content on their web app, but this add on is definitely a huge support and you have to give it a shot. Loom (https://www.loom.com/): Fairly convenient screen recording tool, hard to produce top-tier content with the free version. Honestly, I would never pay subscription fee for a screen recording tool and rather go with one-off payment alternatives when Loom's free version isn't enough. But it's super convenient as a Chrome extension. ColorZilla (https://www.colorzilla.com/): Pick the color codes from your favorite images and pages. Comes in handy for all sorts of graphic design needs and web design. I find it especially useful when designing basic images for social media.

The ones I use the most are Grammarly for spelling, Bitwarden for passwords, and Metamask for cryptocurrencies.

@joanduarte I just checked Bitwarden. It looks interesting, I pay almost 5x the price for Dashlane. Might move after my subscription ends. Thanks for sharing. 😊

@joanduarte Oh I totally forget Grammarly but I use every day

@joanduarte @namrata_dutta Why would you guys need to trust one more company with your passwords if that's already a part of basic functionality for both Chrome and Safari?
Nitin Joshi
@joanduarte is bitwarden trusted password manager? currently I save my password on google?
Freewheel
Agreed for Dashlane, definitely a good one.

Adblock Plus and Video download helper. The first is obvious, the second helps with downloading media from sites. It helps with storing media for later viewing.
Namrata Dutta
@ionelvlad I used to be a fan of Adblock Plus a long time ago, but now started supporting adsπŸ˜‰

Adblockplus and video speed controller! Cannot stand ads or slow videos so those are crucial.
Mike Kennedy
@richard_gao2 Which speed controller is your favorite? I use "YouTube Playback Speed Control" but I'm always curious to try out other options. There's a related one called "Skip silence" that I enjoy as well, but I will say that it doesn't interact seamlessly with the speed control.
Richard Gao
@mkenny The one I use is just called "video speed controller". It works with non-youtube videos as well, and you can speed up the video by pressing D and slow it down by pressing S. It's much more useful than clicking the speed adjustment button on youtube and allows me to speed up videos that cannot be sped up on other sites. I should definitely check out "skip silence".
Mike Kennedy
@richard_gao2 Thanks! The hotkey functionality sounds great!

@richard_gao2 @mkenny Very interesting! Thanks for sharing.
