why do i keep switching tools lol

I think I have a problem with this.

I'll find a new tool and immediately convince myself that this is the one.

Move stuff over.
Set everything up.
Spend way too much time customizing it.

And for a few days I'm very happy with myself.

Then I see another tool.

“oh this looks nice”

and we're back at square one.

The annoying part is that the original tool was usually fine.

Maybe I just like starting over.
