Why do some products not bundle trial days with their highest plan?
by•
I sometimes fail to understand the pricing strategy of some new products in the market. They come with a free plan with limited/locked features along with a paid plan with no trial days.
Not talking about enterprise products here. Some products follow this even when they have nothing to lose by offering their highest plan free for a few days.
Is the customer expected to opt for a paid subscription without having a whole list of options to explore?
I understand it incurs costs and people need to have valid use cases first. But isn't it terrible for business?

I think it's not the best option, to be honest. Another mistake I spot is asking for money right away, but the product is buggy and unusable. One guy asked right away $120/yearly (no monthly option), and every time I did prompt, I saw Error :D
Knowing that, I would have vibe-coded a faulty solution myself (and even for free). :DDD
@busmark_w_nika, hehehe 😂
Good one!
