Genuinely asking, because my experience has been mixed.

Last time I launched here I reached out to a few founders, ended up on some really good calls, swapped notes on what's working. That felt anything but luck.

But I also know people who prepped for weeks and felt like they were shouting into the void on launch day.

This community is one of the most responsive I've seen. People actually try your product and leave real feedback. That part I trust.

This morning I launched my first solo product ever: Controol a minimalist finance app built around one idea:

Know how much you can spend, not just what you already did.

No team. No paid ads. No launch list. Just late nights and building something I personally needed.
I honestly didn t expect much but hours later, it made it to the Top 5 of the day

The feeling? Wild.
Strangers are connecting with the mindset behind it, and it's been amazing to read their comments.

Whether you're a solo builder or part of a fast-moving product team, documentation always seems to lag just behind reality.
Is it the speed of product changes?

• Getting engineers or PMs to consistently update docs?

• Lack of ownership?

• Tooling limitations?

• Or is it something else entirely?

  Would love to hear your thoughts on this.

I love @Cursor. It's enabled me to build (vibe code) so many web apps, sites, extensions, and little things quickly that 1. bring me joy and 2. help me with work or realize personal projects.
However... I'm seeing a TON of movement around @Claude by Anthropic's Claude Code. I haven't personally tried it but it's apparently insane (and can also be expensive?)
I'm curious. Should I switch? What are you currently using? Or do they both have their own use case. I right now like cursor because I can build directly in a GitHub repo or locally and it helps me learn my way around an IDE.
