We replaced our pre-seed with sales: $300k in 60 days

Hey PH

We just sold $300k+ in 60 days with @Pretty Prompt through a lifetime deal on AppSumo.

This shows you can build a company your way.

When is the right time to delegate work tasks to another person?

My environment consists of many solo founders.

However, when I see someone is already starting to hire an employee, the question crosses my mind:
What profit has that person achieved when they can afford to pay another extra person?

👀 Anyone got real results from using their PH product forum? Looking for tips! 👂

Hey everyone

We launched @Trickle and @FirstVersion a while ago and just started looking into the Product Hunt forum feature more seriously.

What interesting products have you found in the "not-featured" section?

The Product Hunt team has to face many new launches every day and try to test products on their own which is very time-demanding.

Understandably, not every product gets into the "Featured section".

(What is/is not featured was also mentioned by @gabe in one of his posts.)

The number one thing you are most excited about in 2025?

For me these are the two most exciting things: 1. Will cash out big time from the crypto markets. 2. My goal to generate revenue with a product that I built and helps people. What's yours?

How do you approach demos for your product?

As users, we all want to try a product before committing. As builders, we want to show real value without over-engineering and investing time 'just for show'. Finding that balance is harder than it looks.

I just shipped my demo for Rewo (https://rewo.app), and intentionally went with a live, real demo:

  • Fully functional product (same codebase as prod)

  • Uses demo data instead of real integrations

  • Some interfacing + sync pieces are disabled

  • Auto-resets on a schedule so anyone can jump in fresh

How many hours do you spend on emails?

How many hours do you spend on crafting emails + replying to work messages everyday? How many hours do you spend on tracking project progress and follow-ups everyday? I personally spend 2 hours on emails & messages, another 1 hour on project tracking. But maybe 1-2 hours joggling around tasks and wasted. Wonder if there's any good AI or SaaS tools to reduce the time spent on the above tasks?

Is Product Hunt a good place to post an open-source software launch?

Hi, I'm working on an open-source project for mobile developers and I'm curious: is Product Hunt a good place to launch?

We've met several folks who are only interested in commercial apps, so I have no idea where to introduce our open-source product to the public.

I'm specifically looking for people who are building mobile apps and want to boost their user engagement.

Thanks in advance.
