Do You Actually Trust YouTube Comments When Deciding What to Change?
by•
I’m curious how other creators really do this.
After uploading a video, comments usually fall into buckets like:
“Loved it!”
“This was boring”
“Your intro needs work”
Random arguments between viewers
But when you’re done reading them all, the real question still remains:
What should I actually change in my next video?
Do you:
Look for repeated phrases?
Focus only on negative comments?
Ignore comments completely and trust retention graphs?
Or just go with gut feeling?
I’m asking because this exact confusion pushed me to build GetSentimate, and before launch I want to understand how real creators deal with this today.
No pitching here — genuinely want to learn.
How do you turn comments into decisions?
