Having used Ghostery 7, I do have to admit that it was a great experience: raises awareness (by displaying how many trackers are blocked), obviously does its job correctly (block ads) and doesn’t get in the way (except for a few cases) but when DDG announced their extension I immediately switched to it (since I’m a DDG user). My question is: what makes it fundamentally better than DDG ? How effective/good is it compared to DDG ? (Any stats we can look at?)

When it crashes on Chrome, I have to go to my extensions and disable/enable Ghostery to make it work again. Otherwise I can not imaging web surfing without it.

I'm a fan of Ghostery. Used to have it on Chrome, but then moved away from Chrome. Would love to see it being added to other browsers like Epic Browser, and Brave. Really ramp up the privacy/tracking all across the board even though these browsers already have online privacy in mind.
