Google Invisible reCAPTCHA - Protects your website from spam and abuse

What exactly is the difference here? Is it just the "I'm not a robot" checkbox is hidden now unless you could be a threat, in which case it challenges you? The only thing that goes into any difference is the video, which is ambiguous at best. Or is there no difference at all to the "I'm not a robot" checkbox, and it is just a new marketing video?
