Hey everyone! I’m Sachin, Co-founder and CEO at HackerEarth. Thanks for the hunt, Kevin! I’m super excited to announce the launch of FaceCode 2.0. The entire HackerEarth team has worked hard over the last one year to create this product. The pandemic forced an evolution of coding interview tools, making them adapt to a fully remote interview process. But despite these improvements, we realized that the existing products were only facilitating collaboration but not really helping interviewees in making objective hiring decisions. So, we decided to reach out to our hiring managers and learn more about their challenges. We focused on diving deep into the interview process, so that we could look beyond the surface-level problems. Across different geographies, interviewing scale and skill sets, we found one insight across the board: it wasn’t just remote coding interview tools that needed to change, it was coding interviews as a whole! We learned coding interviews have 3 major challenges: 1) Recruiters and hiring managers are often caught underprepared for an interview, given their workload. This problem is more acute in the case of younger interviewers. 2) Hiring decisions are prone to both bias and inefficiency due to a lack of objective evaluation parameters. 3) Recording interview feedback takes a lot of time and in many cases not done objectively and quickly, leading to biased evaluations. How did we solve these problems? 1) A large library of relevant, high-quality coding questions that can be chosen on the fly. 2) An objective system that standardizes scoring across your interview panel. 3) An interview summary generator that automatically generates an interview summary based on parameters like interviewer ratings, candidate engagement levels, time spent coding, quality of code, etc. We've also added comprehensive Interview reports, audio transcripts and video recordings for post-interview analysis. Give FaceCode a whirl and let us know what you think. We believe it’s time for Intelligent Coding Interviews and we want to lead the way with FaceCode. We’re also keen on answering any questions you might have. Cheers, Sachin

@sachingupta006 The "deep insights of candidate behaviour" looks like an interesting area to tap on!
Sachin Gupta
@daryllman Yes, these insights really help truly skilled candidates shine. They let them "Show" instead of "Tell".
Alfred Alexander
Looks slick with a set of very useful features. Plus you're telling me that it'll automatically generate interview summaries for me? Cant wait to try it out!
Alfred Alexander
Well I just tried it with someone from my team and it's fab! Really good stuff
Akash Bhat
@alfred_alexander Yes, it is fab. Love the interface. Its's so simple, there is no learning curve. Our folks get it right away.
Sachin Gupta
@alfred_alexander We've got a limited-period offer running, Alfred. Do check it out on our website. You'll like it
Alfred Alexander
@sachingupta006 Thanks, I'm gonna do that.

Wow!! Automated interview summary - exactly what I was thinking off while taking an interview yesterday. For people who take multiple interviews in a day, this product is a gift from the gods.
Sachin Gupta
@new_user_16914e49c5 Thank you for saying that Sunil. I hope you'll try it out today.
Sohini Lala
FaceCode is a no brainer! I see it becoming a staple in tech job interviews in the coming years. I’ve used it as a developer. The experience was smooth.
Sachin Gupta
@sohini_lala We always love hearing back from developers who've used our platform. Thank you, Sohini. I hope you'll start using it for any interview you conduct in the future.

FaceCode 2.0 is pretty nifty. The editor interface is very good. At par with offline editors. I see this to be a good tool to use even for offline interviews. With the ability to include your own questions, interview insights, it makes a great tool for code pairing interviews
Sachin Gupta
@new_user_bcbf4d98ba Always a pleasure to hear back from engineers, Navaneetha. Its feedback like this that keeps us going. Thank you.
Srikanth Tirupattur
Looks like a pretty unique product...definitely goes way beyond just melding an IDE with a video chat feature.
Sachin Gupta
@srikanth_tirupattur Yes, we really believe that a coding interview tool should be more than just Video + IDE. There's so much more in the interview experience that can be improved, and we've done just that with FaceCode 2.0.
Harsh Namdev
Super cool product!!! We will definitely try this out.
Sachin Gupta
@harsh_namdev1 Please do. You can always reach out to me via Twitter if you have feedback, or want to suggest a feature addition. Me and my team and are always keen on talking to engineers and product managers from around the world.
Vaibhav Sharma
I wish all recruiters were to adopt this so we could move away from the dreaded GDocs for online interviews.
Sachin Gupta
@vaibhv_shrma Haha. Yes, Google Docs and physical whiteboards. I still remember my experience as a candidate, back in the day, when I gave interviews on a physical whiteboard, and even on a sheet of paper. Absolutely frustrating. Glad we've come a long way from that now.
Amarkumar Mishra
I was actually interviewed through faceCode, and it was really a great experience. The coding area, white board for discussion with interviewer etc was really good and impressive. It is really a good platform not only for interviewers but also for a candidates. Kudos to HackerEarth!
Sachin Gupta
@amarkumar_mishra Thank you! Always great to hear good feedback from developes :)
