Hamdori 0.1.4: Distraction guard

0.1.4 is out with a new opt-in feature, Distraction guard.

How to turn it on

  1. Right-click Hamdori → Open Panel

  2. Turn on Distraction guard

When a site on your list (YouTube, Instagram and a few others are there by default) is in the front tab, Hamdori stares at it for a moment, then slurps that tab up. Your other tabs stay put. Apps on the list get moved out of view instead.

Privacy

  • It's off unless you turn it on.

  • On a Mac it asks for Screen Recording and browser control permission. On Windows there's no prompt.

  • Web addresses and screen images stay on your computer and are never saved or sent.

Also new

  • Since our Product Hunt launch: a lunch snack and an after-lunch nap (0.1.3)

  • Fixed a rare case where Hamdori closed right after you opened it

Already have it? Open Panel → Check for updates
