Introducing Happycapy Connectors: Your AI Finally Has a Place to Work

Your AI is already smart enough. Give it somewhere to work.

Asking AI a question was never the hard part. The hard part is what happens after the answer. However good the draft is, the one pasting the table into the doc, saving the file where it belongs, and sending the email to the client that's still you. Your work is scattered across a dozen tools: some of it in your inbox, some in Notion, some in a folder on your laptop. Your AI lives in exactly one place, a chat box. Wherever it can't reach is wherever it can't help.

So the problem was never intelligence. It's that your AI has nowhere to work. That's the gap Happycapy Connectors close: a connector is a grant that lets Happycapy work inside a tool you already use the big apps, your inbox, even your own computer. You don't switch tools, migrate data, or learn anything new. Capy comes to your work, not the other way around. We've been saying AI should adapt to you since day one; this is what that looks like as a product.

Manus Alternative: Move Your Whole Workflow to Happycapy

At some point this weekend, a lot of people opened Manus to get back to work and found the door locked. Not over an unpaid bill. Not over anything they did. A $2 billion acquisition came undone, compliance required a deletion, and everything they'd built there since December 29 went dark along with the account for at least two days.

The short version of the news: Manus announced on August 11, 2026 that it is returning to independent operation as its deal with Meta unwinds. Data created by affected users on or after December 29, 2025 was deleted on August 23 24. The restoration portal opens August 25 at 08:00 SGT.

This page has two parts, in deliberate order: first, how to get your Manus data back. Second, if this week convinced you that you want an agent whose results don't live inside the agent a room-by-room guide to moving your workflow to Happycapy. Because if there's one thing worth keeping from a bad week, it's this:

Then ask anyone cheering what the new version actually does differently in daily use. They can't tell you. Not because they're lazy because the gap has become too fine for human eyes to judge.

23 apps before lunch and I still didn't finish my main task

Hey PH community, I counted yesterday. 23 different apps before noon. Slack, Notion, ChatGPT, Figma, Google Sheets, email, Trello... and about 15 Chrome tabs I never closed from yesterday. By lunch I was exhausted and my actual work was still sitting there unfinished. The thing is, we all do this. We've normalized digital whack-a-mole. We have AI that can generate images and write code in seconds. But somehow we're still the ones doing all the clicking and switching. The AI just sits in a chat window waiting for us to feed it context. That felt backwards. So we built HappyCapy basically a computer where the AI can actually DO stuff, not just tell you what to do. Generate images, edit docs, crunch numbers, build sites. Whatever. You just describe what you need and it handles the tool-hopping. We're not replacing your main computer. But for a lot of tasks, it's way faster to just delegate to an agent that gets it done. It's live now. Still rough in places. But if you're tired of being an unpaid assistant to your own AI assistant, it might click. Curious: how many apps are you juggling right now? What's driving you most crazy about it?
