Hey, I've been looking for something like this for a long time. I was using Cumulus (featured here I believe) until it was shut down by Soundcloud. I just installed Harmony and it seems dope, I still can't believe I can access to all my spotify/soundcloud/youtube stuff in this so yeah, great job and I'll probably buy a lifetime licence. One question though, what happens if all the api integration that made it worth buying disappear one day ? Would you consider a refund ?

@tgerin Hey Thibaut! First of all thanks :) Harmony serve the API keys server-side so in case of problem I can update the keys to working ones while I work a fix. To answer your question, yes I would of course make refunds in case of events like this.

It seems that https://getharmony.xyz/home redirects successfully to https://getharmony.xyz However https://getharmony.xyz/home?ref=... does not successfully redirect, so people won't see the page if they click the "Get It" link. Just thought I'd flag this quickly before it has time to do too much damage.

How do you deal with the Soundcloud API rate limiting? https://developers.soundcloud.co... Or the Spotify rate limiting? https://developer.spotify.com/we... Be aware that at one point in time your app could break due to rate limiting.

Also, watch out for terms violations, since you are now monetizing your app! The TOU of Spotify for example does not allow commercial use of their streaming content without written permission. https://developer.spotify.com/de... (2. Commercial Use Restrictions) The best way to move forward is to get permission from the API platforms, that way your paying customers are certain that the API integration is approved and will stay in the app.

When playing from spotify music, it searches for the song on youtube and plays what it finds..

Pros:

Good design

Easy to use

cool themes

Cons:

Wont use spotify.
