hi.new let's you secure your email address by adding a layer through which people can easily communicate with you to prevent annoying spam emails. Instead of saying “email me at mailto:xxx@yyy.com”. You can just say “email me here: https://hi.new/yyy”

Congrats on the launch @dantelex and great to see the traction you are getting! I created my account, simple jim was still available too :) Bit lost what to do from there, maybe create on onboarding (e.g. go here to modify your Linkedin, etc.). Looking forward to using it more. Jim

@joeyjooste Honestly, it's not for everyone, but I've looked for a seamless way to prevent spam but still be reachable. it's not about another email. it's just day 1 and more to come

@dantelex yeah but how does it differ from a contact form? I understand it's not for everyone, but most people have a way to use easy contact forms already. What can it offer that's better than a contact form?

@joeyjooste proxy emails, block emails, domains, ips, pay to send, conditional filters...etc. The list goes on, honestly :)
