HEY - Email at its best, new from Basecamp

by
Email deserves a dust off. A renovation. Modernized for the way we email today.
With HEY, we’ve done just that. It’s a redo, a rethink, a simplified, potent reintroduction of email. A fresh start, the way it should be.

Looking forward to trying this - I recall email in terminals, loved wzmail, then we had Exchange come in and things were fine... and Outlook's original vision was good. And somewhere we took a wrong turn at Albaquerque

I email all day. It’s my job. I love it. I hate it. Some emails are nice. Most are not. People will say a lot of things in an email that they will not say to your face. You can get most all business done with email and attachments. I’d say email is essential! I can’t wait to try HEY. I hope you can send me a code please?

Gotta love the idea of the Imbox and the thumbs up - thumbs down of the sender. I'm excited to have this change the way that I manage email.

Talk about solving a problem/ pain. If you watch the full 30 min video you can't deny that it is a game changer. Yes there is hype (you *should* speak highly of a product you created) but it lives up to it. Email is not an easy beast to take on, so hats off to you @jasonfried and @dhh for taking on the challenge. Looking forward to switching to Hey.com.

@jasonfried Been watching this for a while. I have a question, will HEY eventually have a a business email version, instead of hey.com, you know for professional reasons?

Look's awesome, and I am definitely for a revamp of email. Not able to pay $99 a year sub, would consider monthly. Any plans for monthly sub?
