HEY - Email at its best, new from Basecamp

Thought it would be simple tool... and I got lost somewhere half trough the video. Too many options! pinned, laters, papers, labels, notes... gosh! You can loose your important email somewhere there

I am intrigued by the product and wonderful to see someone as resourceful as Basecamp make an attempt to solve e-mail. A dealbreaker for me, however, is the inability to import my existing e-mails. I wish you good luck with the launch and road ahead!

This looks like a simple and productive email app, nice stuff. However must concur with some of the others here... "Imbox" rubs me the wrong way. A little too clever.

Why is this a full email service and not implemented as an email client?

@dhh I just heard the news about what apple is doing to your HEY app! That's so awful! The best way to overcome this I guess is to make the product a Progressive Web App, so no matter what device the user has, they can use it. That is apples biggest fear, once it catches steam the apple store will go down. Also can HEY also be used for business email?

Wow this is really exciting! Will there a way to backup your email / history / notes etc in an encrypted format? Also privacy / security?

Of course, anything from the Basecamp team is worth considering! Waiting for an invite. In the mean time, wondering if there'd be a way to import the bazillion of emails that we already have on Gmail, Outlook.com, etc.?

I soo wish this was a FREE service. Nonethess, love the product :)
