Hello ProductHunters! There's a lot of movement in the generative AI space, but I found it difficult to generate images I could --really-- use in production as a product guy & web developer (vector icons, flat illustrations, 3D emojis, etc.). So I've created Hippo! - It's a Figma plugin, so you get the images where you need them. - It embeds multiple AI models (Dall-E, Stable diffusion, Open Journey, etc.) - But above all it features multiple pre-selected styles that are really useful to build web and mobile apps. So you don't need to learn anything about prompt engineering or model tuning. I also added powerful editing pictures so you can use AI to adapt images to your needs: you can vectorize any image (very cool for icons / illustrations), upscale them 4x, even zoom them out (outpaint). It's my first Figma plugin, so feedback and comments are really more than welcome. Hope it can prove useful for your design work! Thanks for the hunt, @alban!

Tried Hippo to generate logos straight into figma for my local swim club. That worked great! Also as a frequent figma user for digital product design and customer journey mock up, I cannot emphasize how big a difference it makes while reviewing journeys to have dedicated, spot on illustrations. Hippo rocks, you should definitely try it :). Kudos @severin__

@maxtpham Hehe. It's not free unfortunately. Got an email from OpenAI just now saying I've reached my soft limit. I'm trying to find a good pricing balance: give enough free credits to new users to try, but find a pricing that can compensate thanks to paying users

Absolutely intrigued by the Hippo plugin! I love how it integrates AI with design in Figma. Just curious, how does it handle complex designs? And are there any limitations on the type of images it can vectorize?

Hello @ricardo_luz! Complex images will be simplified using the k-means algorithm (a kind of posterization). So either 1/ your output might not be super clean for very complex pics (lot of details, gradients), or 2/ the output vector image will be very complex. You should try it out!
