After all, our founders were facing the same challenges many small companies face: the hiring process is chaotic. They needed to hire a team but there was no tool for small businesses hiring for the first time. Every hiring tool is built for big companies with professional recruiters—they’re too complicated and too expensive. Since those days, we’ve helped small businesses in The Netherlands and beyond make tens of thousands of meaningful hires. So, why Homerun Free? And why now? Today’s job market makes it even harder for small companies to grow their teams. Small businesses and startups have to get their name out there and compete with the big fish for quality talent. Plus, not every small business has the luxury of a dedicated recruiter. Growing your team, whether it’s from 2 to 3 or 10 to 30, is a massive step you should take deliberately. We believe that means being thoughtful, balanced, meaningful and inclusive. Homerun Free is meant for small teams and individuals who crave a simple, affordable and organized hiring process.
