Nice work! I wonder how this feels for the receiver that doesn't use Hop though, might be the challenge. Many don't really consider email as "conversational" as chat but hope you keep changing minds. Love the look of groups!
@horiacernusca receiver gets a regular email msg. in fact, if you tap on the 'bubble' you can see the entire thread in the 'traditional' view

Love this concept. Amazing idea, well done. A couple questions:
1. Plans to include pop/imap email accounts in the future?
2. The idea of "Groups" wasn't clear (I thought it was a filtering tool) and I just spammed 50 people with an email I didn't know was going to be sent. Not cool. Maybe explain better what it is (group email messaging) and alert the user that the people they are adding will get an email.
3. Any way to prioritize users so their stuff shows up at the top all the time?

1. Yep. we have already built the infrastructure for that. we will get to it after making sure all the popular services work smoothly
2. You are right. This is a limited access version to product hunt community and we will be clearer on many other features as well. The current Groups works very much in line with common IM services like WhatsApp & Messenger - just this is email and open to all.
3. On the home screen you see all threads, but you can activate 'other' to automatically bundle all emails you never corresponded with to one place. You can move contacts and convos from main to other by swipe and tap the 🕓

@pilosof I've been using Hop for 2 days and I love it.
However, I've just encountered an issue while replying on a Google Group thread on a GSuite domain (formerly Google Apps). The Mail Delivery Subsystem rejects my reply due to "spam classification". Something about needing to configure SPF records. Any tips on how to configure these would be super appreciated.
