Heres the shpiel: I've wanted to start a business for a while. Not in a vague "someday" way, I actually need to. I'm a college student studying cs and tuition is expensive and I'm tired of putting that on my parents. So I tried to find real problems to solve. Cold called local businesses, got hung up on almost every time. Turns out the second you say "do you have 5 minutes" they already know you're not a customer and you're done. So I built Ideate. You type in a market — "freelancers", "restaurant owners", whatever and it scans Reddit, HN, Quora, Stack Overflow, and G2, then ranks the top problems people are actually complaining about. There's also a best opportunity card that gives you a tldr on what looks most worth pursuing. If something catches your eye you can run a deep dive: competitors, ideal customer profile, how to get your first 10 customers. Built it over spring break instead of rotting.
