Inka - Professional invoices without the costly subscription trap

by
I built Inka because every invoice app I tried was ugly, overcomplicated, or charging upwards of £100–200 a year for something that should be simple. Inka lets you create a professional invoice in under 60 seconds. 3 beautiful PDF templates, full client management, works fully offline - no account ever needed. Monthly or yearly plans, or pay once with the lifetime option and own it forever. No subscription trap. Try free for 7 days. No mid-year price hikes!

Hey hunters - if you're a freelancer or sole trader who's ever winced at an invoicing app subscription renewal, Inka is built for you. The lifetime option exists specifically because I wanted to offer something cheaper than most of our competitor do: pay once, use it forever. No price hikes, no "we're changing our pricing model" emails. Just the app. Would love to know what you think - brutally honest feedback welcome.

Congrats on the launch! @james_booker3

The lifetime option and clean templates really stand out. Feels built with real pain points in mind.

How are you planning to differentiate long term?

@uxdbob Thanks, really appreciate that! 🙏 Long term differentiation is something I think about a lot. The plan is to keep the core experience ruthlessly simple - most invoicing apps try to be full accounting suites and end up overwhelming the people who just need to send a PDF quickly. Beyond that: varied PDF templates, iCloud sync, and recurring invoice scheduling are on the roadmap. But honestly the biggest differentiator is the pricing model itself - the lifetime option at our price point is hard to ignore when compared with our competitors, and I want to keep that lean for users as the app grows. Would love to know what features would make it a no-brainer for you!
