0 traffic, 0 sales — building SavvyX Coupon anyway
Hey everyone, I'm a solo founder building SavvyX Coupon (savvyxcoupon.com).
The idea came from frustration — most Italian coupon sites are full of inflated prices, expired codes, and fake discounts. I wanted to build the opposite: a place where deals are simple, clear, and actually useful.
What I’ve built so far (alone):
— A coupon site focused on real, verified deals (no fake discounts)
— A weekly blog where I break down how to actually save money online + curated picks
— A daily TL;DR newsletter with short, useful saving tips (no spam, no product dumping)
— Discount calculators to help users understand real prices
Where I am now:
A few months in, almost no traffic, 0 affiliate sales. I need to make my first Amazon sales soon or I lose the account.
Not looking for investors — just honest feedback from people who’ve been here.
If you were starting from zero today, what would you focus on first?

Love this take on fixing crappy coupon sites...real deals and no BS is exactly what people need. Solo building a blog + newsletter + calculators? Impressive grit.
From zero traffic myself (multiple launches, one POTD via non-stop outreach), I'd double down on that first: DM creators/influencers in Italy's deal space, cross-post on Reddit/Twitter, and hunt PH for collabs. Momentum builds fast once you get those first eyes.
