Building privacy tools for 50k+ users who hate spam and tracking
by•
Hi everyone, I'm Dishant — developer of @FCE - Temporary and disposable email
I built it because most disposable email services either track users heavily or have terrible developer experience. My goal was to create a privacy-focused temporary email service with clean UX and a reliable API developers can use for testing, automation, and signup workflows.
Lately I've been exploring the automation + temp mail API space, especially for developers who need disposable inboxes in CI pipelines, QA testing, and automation tools.
Curious to hear from other makers here:
Where do you currently use temporary emails in your workflows?

Love this, Dishant! Privacy-focused temp email with solid dev APIs is huge...I've used them everywhere from CI pipelines for email testing in my apps to quick QA signups and automation workflows.
Launching The Sponge on PH soon...it's an AI flashcard app that turns webpages into spaced repetition study cards. If you're up for it, would appreciate a follow (launch link in profile)!
@rianbrob Appreciate that!! Those are exactly the situations I kept running into - testing signups, QA accounts, random automation workflows, etc. I used a bunch of temp mail tools before building mine and most of them were either slow, full of ads, or weirdly expensive for something that should be simple.
The Sponge sounds cool btw... turning webpages into spaced-repetition cards is a clever idea, especially for people who learn by collecting stuff from the web, looking forward to seeing the launch.
