Building Web3Market: What Would Make You Trust a Digital Project Marketplace?

Hi Product Hunt community!

I'm the founder of Web3Market, a marketplace I'm building to help developers and founders showcase Web3 projects, AI applications, SaaS products, websites, and digital businesses to potential buyers.

Website:

The idea is to make buying and selling digital projects more structured, with a journey that includes project discovery, evaluation, offers, deal coordination, and blockchain-based settlement where supported.

Some of the features I'm working on include:

  • Free project listings, with a 7.5% success fee on completed sales.

  • AI-assisted project due diligence and valuation.

  • A structured deal workflow for buyers and sellers.

  • Safe multisignature settlement as part of the platform's transaction approach.

  • Support for buyers and sellers, intended to be available 24/7.

As an early-stage founder, I'm focused on building trust and creating a useful experience for both sides of the marketplace. I know that technology alone isn't enough: buyers also need credible project information, clear ownership, and confidence in the transaction process.

I'd love to hear your thoughts on three questions:

  1. What would you need to see before trusting a new marketplace to buy or sell a digital business?

  2. Which matters most to you: verified ownership, independent technical audits, transparent transaction records, or buyer protection?

  3. What would convince developers to list their projects on a new marketplace rather than an established platform?

I'm building Web3Market step by step and would genuinely appreciate feedback from other makers and founders.

Thanks for sharing your experience!
