First time on Product Hunt, What should I expect from the POV of a builder?

Been building Sweezy, a daily life AI companion, where you just talk for 5mins and It helps plan your day, remembers what matters, checks in on you, and adapts when life inevitably doesn’t go according to plan. We've been heads down building it for a while — breaking things, rebuilding them, and obsessing over details probably nobody will notice. Now comes the part I’m much less familiar with: actually putting it in front of people. I’m pretty new to Product Hunt, so genuinely curious — from a builder’s POV, what should I expect here? Is it mostly about launch day? Building relationships before launching? Getting early feedback? Or just consistently showing up and sharing what you’re building? For founders who’ve launched here: what’s one thing you wish you knew before your first Product Hunt launch?
