I'm Lorenzo and I have spent way too many hours digging through GitHub trying to find a Claude skill or an MCP server that actually works, instead of some abandoned repo with 3 stars, no docs, and a README that stops halfway through.

that's basically why my work in progess project exists. Its a directory of AI assets but the whole point is that everything in it is actually checked, documented, and open source. no scraped list of 10,000 repos nobody tested, just the ones worth your time.

I am building this solo and it is still very early (148 visits in 3 weeks early), so honestly I'm here more to learn from people who have done this before than to sell anything.

If you have ever gone looking for a good MCP server or skill and given up halfway through, I would love to hear about it.
