Hey PH! Solo dev building in the acoustic wellness space

Hey everyone! 👋

I’ve been following Product Hunt for a while, so I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself properly to the community.

I’m Matias, a solo indie developer from Chile. By day I love tinkering with low-level browser APIs and mobile performance, and lately, I’ve been fascinated by how sound frequencies interact with cognitive states and focus.

A lot of tools in the focus/sleep sound space felt predatory to me: charging $60+/year just to stream 15-minute looped MP3s behind strict paywalls and user tracking.

So I decided to fund a project out of my own pocket: Vyneural.

Instead of streaming pre-recorded audio, it’s a client-side sound engine built on the Web Audio API that generates pure, uncompressed binaural waves and ambient soundscapes directly on the user’s device. It’s 100% private, free forever with 28 presets, and requires no account or email wall. We also packaged an open-source Android app on Google Play with system alarms and background audio.

We currently have our first 20 active users testing routines, and I’m learning the ropes of distribution and community building day by day.
