👋 Hey Product Hunt! I’m excited to introduce Spoold
by•
Over the last few months, I’ve been building something I always wished existed — a privacy-first toolbox for developers.
🚀 What is Spoold?
Spoold is a collection of 40+ fast, browser-based tools built to make everyday dev tasks easier:
JSON / YAML / HTML prettifiers
Converters & formatters
Encoders / decoders
Debugging helpers
Productivity utilities
…all running fully client-side for maximum privacy.
No sign-ups, no tracking, no data sent to servers — everything stays on your browser.
💡 Why I built it
I kept jumping between dozens of different websites just to fix small problems.
Some were slow, some had ads, some weren’t private.
So I built one clean, fast, unified place where everything “just works.”
🔧 What’s inside?
40+ tools (and growing)
Clean UI
Instant load times
Built with a privacy-first mindset
Open to community feature requests
🙌 I’d love your feedback!
This is just the beginning — I want to turn Spoold into the most useful, trustworthy dev toolbox on the internet.
If you try it, I’d love to hear:
Which tools you need next
What workflows it can speed up
Any rough edges I should fix
Thanks a lot for checking it out! 😊

Cool! I've already bookmarked the curl -> code formatter and the regex tester. You know what they say "when you look to solve a problem with regex, now you have 2 problems"
I'll give it a proper explore when I'm coding next, but I like it so far. Only rough edge I can see is a title formatting issue - I opened it on a narrow sidescreen and the title overflowed the header (Zen - 1.19.1b (Firefox 148.0), Mac)
Privacy-first and no sign-up is the right call; most devs don't want another account just to format some JSON.
40+ tools are a solid foundation. The ones that tend to get the most daily use are the boring, unglamorous ones: diff checkers, base64, and JWT decoders. If those are already in there, you've probably got a daily driver for many people.
Congrats on shipping!
