I’m Alaa, a builder based in Kuwait, currently exploring tech, cybersecurity, and accessibility.

I’ve been learning about digital accessibility myself, and it’s also personally meaningful to me. As someone who has experienced accessibility barriers in different parts of life due to my disability, I started wondering how we could make accessibility easier for beginners to understand without getting lost in technical terminology.

That idea became JustA11y, a beginner-friendly platform using simple explanations, visual examples, and real-world scenarios to introduce accessibility.

I built the first version during the DoraHacks 2.0 hackathon, and it’s been a pretty fun experience going from “I have an idea” to actually having something people can use.

I’ll be launching JustA11y on Product Hunt this Saturday, so I’m excited to share it with the community finally.

I’m here to meet other makers, learn from the PH community, and discover what everyone else is building.
