Hi PH, I'm Jay. Helping my team prep for launch on the 22nd and learning a lot.

First proper post here after months of lurking. Hi everyone.

I'm Jay, on the growth team at nRev.

We're a AI workflow platform for GTM teams, basically what you'd build if you smashed Clay, n8n, and Zapier together and put an AI builder on top.

Describe a workflow in plain English, the AI builds and runs it. We've got over 10,000 of them deployed across customers so far.

Launching on PH on April 22.

Which means I've spent the last 6 weeks deep in the weeds of PH culture, watching how launches actually play out, talking to makers who've done this before, and quietly panicking on behalf of my founders.

A few things I've learned as an outsider-turned-insider to this platform:

  1. Upvotes are vanity. Comment quality is the real signal of whether a launch actually resonates.

  2. The PH community has an excellent nose for over-polished corporate marketing. Rough and honest always beats slick.

  3. Reciprocity is everything. The makers who show up for others are the ones who get shown up for.

Two asks:

  1. If you've launched before, what's the one thing you'd tell a growth team member prepping for their founder's launch?

  2. If you're launching around the same time as us (mid-to-late April), drop it below. I'll be in comments all day on the 22nd and happy to return the favor for yours.

Excited to actually be part of this community instead of just reading it. πŸ’Ÿ

Hey Jay, great post and spot-on insights!

One thing from my previous launches: Outreach...outreach...outreach. That's what made one Product of the Day.

Launching The Sponge around then too...AI-powered flashcard app with a browser extension that turns webpages into spaced repetition study material. If you're up for it, would appreciate a follow (see "PRODUCT HUNT LAUNCH" link in my profile). Happy to support nRev on the 22nd!
