Hi PH, I'm Surya. I build an AI employee for stores where customers pay at the door

Hey Product Hunt 👋

I'm Surya, co-founder and product architect at Sendiee, based in Coimbatore, India.

Something most people outside India don't know: a big share of online orders here are cash on delivery. The customer pays nothing until the parcel arrives, so they can simply refuse it at the door. The store pays shipping both ways and gets the product back a week later. For a small brand, that can be the difference between profit and loss.

That's one of the problems Sendiee handles. Before a COD order ships, it messages the buyer on WhatsApp and asks them to confirm with one tap. No confirmation, no shipment.

It's part of what we call an AI employee: it answers customer questions, follows up with leads, and sends abandoned-cart reminders across WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger, so a five-person brand doesn't need someone awake at 2 am to reply.

Most of my time goes into the unglamorous part: making the AI reliable enough that a store owner trusts it with real customers and real money.

I'm here to learn from people building AI agents and e-commerce tools, and to give feedback where I can.

A question for you: if you've put an AI agent in front of real customers, what was the first thing that went wrong?
