Hi Product Hunters, I'm Trace.

Since 2017 I've run a marketing agency for service businesses: roofers, HVAC shops, garage door companies. Every week looked the same. We ran search, ads, content and email for each client, then spent hours pulling reports so the owner could see what actually brought in jobs.

At some point we started automating our own work, and it got good enough that we stopped being an agency and became a software company. That's TruLata. It runs a service business's marketing on a schedule and shows every lead, where it came from and what it cost, on one screen.

We launched here yesterday and learned a lot, mostly that this community is a different world from the contractors we usually talk to. So I'm here to take part, not just launch. Next up is a free website builder for service businesses, on October 20.

A question for anyone who has built for small local businesses: how did you get in front of them? They don't hang out on Product Hunt, and I'd love to hear what worked.
