Hi Product Hunt! I'm Coen -- tech lawyer and enthusiast building an investment portfolio tracker
Hey everyone! I'm Coen, based in the Netherlands. By day I'm a tech lawyer advising companies on software contracts and AI regulations. By night (and weekends), I'm building InvestTrack -- a privacy-first portfolio tracking platform for individual investors.
The problem I'm solving: Like many of you, I invest across multiple asset classes -- stocks, ETFs, crypto, real estate, private equity, P2P lending, pensions, and savings accounts. I was tired of juggling spreadsheets and five different platforms just to understand my full financial picture. None of them showed everything in one place.
What I built: InvestTrack is a single dashboard that brings all your investments together. Key highlights:
Tracks stocks, ETFs, crypto, real estate, private equity, pensions, and cash -- all in one view
Privacy-first: data stored in the EU with appropriate security measures
ETF X-Ray analysis to see through your funds to underlying holdings and spot overlap
CSV/Excel import from major brokers, API Access where feasible.
No trading, no financial advice -- just honest tracking and analysis
Where I'm at: I'm in early development and approaching a launch. I'm currently digging through the product tips and tricks and actively looking for feedback from fellow investors and builders. I have never done something like this before, so any advice would be welcome!
Would you use something like this? What's missing from your current tracking setup?
Which brokers/platforms should I prioritize for CSV import support?
Any features that would make this a must-have for you?
I'd love to connect with other makers and investors here. Happy to answer any questions about the product, the tech, or the experience of building as a non-traditional founder (lawyer -> developer).
Reach me here or at hello@investtrack.net!
