Hi Product Hunt, I’m Danilo, an AI Engineer from Sicily to San Francisco 👋

Hey Product Hunt, I’m Danilo 👋

I’m an AI Engineer originally from Sicily, Italy. Since I was a kid, one of my biggest dreams was to make it to Silicon Valley and build something there. After living in London, Tokyo and Miami, I’m now in San Francisco, and it still feels a little surreal to finally be here.

I’ve been building software for a long time. I started coding when I was very young, then worked across AI and machine learning and eventually ended up founding my own company.

The funny thing is that after almost 20 years around software, I’m probably more excited about building products today than I’ve ever been.

The reason is pretty simple: for the first time, I feel like the distance between having an idea and actually building it is becoming dramatically smaller.

For years I’ve met founders, designers, marketers and business owners with really good ideas who never built them, but not because the ideas were bad.

Mostly because software was expensive, slow, and required knowing the right people or having the right technical background.

And even as a developer, I know the feeling of having an idea in your head and thinking: “Ok… now I need three months, five different skills and probably a lot more money than I expected.”

That’s why vibe coding caught my attention so much. What interests me much more is what happens when people who never thought of themselves as “software builders” suddenly realize they can create something real.

For the last couple of years, my team and I have been working on around this idea.

We’re building a vibe coding platform, but we’ve also been experimenting with something slightly different: instead of giving you only an AI coding assistant, we created a 3D office with different AI Employees that can help you think through product, design, development and other parts of what you’re building.

Basically, we’re asking ourselves:

What if creating software felt less like talking to a coding tool and more like working with a small team?

It has been a pretty intense journey so far. We’ve invested our own money, rebuilt things more times than I’d like to admit, changed direction, spent a lot of late nights working, and learned a ridiculous amount along the way.

And now, after more than 1,000 beta testers have already used and shared their feedback with us, we’re finally bringing it to Product Hunt. and one of the reasons I wanted to introduce myself before the launch is that I’d really like to meet other people here who are thinking about the same shift.

I’m especially curious about one thing:

If building software keeps getting easier, what becomes the difficult part?

Is it the idea? Product thinking? Distribution? Taste? Understanding users?

Would love to hear your thoughts, and happy to connect with other founders and makers here. 👋 ☺️

Love this perspective! When the tech barrier disappears, having genuine empathy for the user's problem is going to be the only real competitive advantage left.
