I got so frustrated with recipe sites that I built an app to fix them β here's what I shipped
Hey Product Hunt! π
I just shipped my first app β CleanCook.
The idea came from pure frustration. Every time I tried to cook something new, I'd open a recipe site and get hit with pop-ups, ads, and a 2,000 word life story before seeing a single ingredient.
So I built the app I actually wanted to use.
CleanCook lets you paste any recipe link and get just the ingredients and steps β clean, fast, no noise. AI strips everything else out. There's also a Cooking Mode so your screen stays on and you can follow steps without touching your phone with messy hands.
It's my first real launch. I'm a student building on the side, and this is the first thing I've shipped that I actually use every day.
Would love brutal feedback β what's missing? What would make you use this daily?
Beta is live on TestFlight:

Recipe sites drive me nuts too...that frustration is so relatable. I'll check out CleanCook.
If you're up for it, I'm launching The Sponge on PH soon...an AI-powered flashcard app that turns any webpage into study material with spaced repetition. Would appreciate a follow (See "PRODUCT HUNT LAUNCH" Link in my profile).
