These days I work where sales operations, software, and commercial discipline meet building CRM and pipeline systems, lead capture and routing, and GTM automation (HubSpot, n8n, Make, webhooks/API integrations) for founders and sales teams whose revenue workflows are slow, disconnected, or stuck depending on someone remembering to follow up.

That's actually how I found this idea not through a personal construction background, but because the pattern is one I've seen in every industry I've worked in: money doesn't disappear because people aren't working hard, it disappears because nobody owns the moment information gets lost. When I researched how specialty contractors track change orders, I found exactly that failure mode, just with higher stakes real work, real value, and no system catching the deadline before it's gone.

That's why I built ScopeLedger a private workspace for specialty contractors to capture changed work, track notice deadlines, organize evidence against each change, and see exposure across every project in one place, instead of losing it all to scattered emails and spreadsheets.

Me: zero VC money. Not as a flex, honestly some weeks it just feels like a slower way to suffer.

But here's my actual theory. When your burn is millions a month you have to sell enterprise seats, so every funded player converges on the same product: a bot joins the call, dumps a transcript into yet another inbox, sales team follows up with your boss. Being broke means I get to build for the actual person in the meeting instead. No bot sitting in the participant list, real speaker separation, notes that live in an actual notes app.

I never thought I would ever be able to say this.
