I'm Nicolas, French programmer in my 40s, currently building a price comparison tool (and more) for french online wine market (Vino Nexus : https://www.vino-nexus.com).
It's a side project but quite a lot of features already : handling wine collection, favorite lists, searching live events, etc. (still a ton more in the todo list obviously :D)
I was wondering if it makes any sense to make a product hunt launch here as the application is only for French market (at least at the moment) ?
Any clue ?

I m Vishal, a solopreneur and developer, Product passionate about data privacy and building useful utilities. I ve been quietly hanging around the community for a bit, learning from all the incredible launches, and figured it was finally time to properly step up and say hello!

What I'm building:
Like many of you, I frequently use web-based tools to edit, merge, or redact PDFs containing sensitive information (like contracts, IDs, and financial documents). Every single time I uploaded a file to a popular cloud utility, I felt an uncomfortable spike of anxiety: Where is this data actually going? Who owns that server?

To solve my own problem, I built PrivacyScanPDF.com.

I spent a year building a mobile app. A whole month drafting Terms of Service. Burned cash on stuff that didn t matter.

Never shared it. Never talked to users. Built it alone. Quit before it launched.

Here s what that taught me:

I'm Brian, worked as an operations manager and every day was frustrated with the "tools" that we were using to track and display information. It never would look right in my brain and i got sick of it so i started building my own using data bases and CMR's such as notion and GHL for sources of truth that would keep a live and interact dashboard of need to know information at the tips of your fingers.

Now i spend most day looking for ways to improves the world around me starting with those that are closest to me, designing programs to help them get precious time back to spend on other task or more importantly with their families.
