I moved across the globe, (from Australia to Sweden) and discovered that making friends can be tough in a new culture.I joined the Panion team and started using the app as well as working on it! was really helpful because it has much more of a focus on meeting people that are interested in similar activities compared to other social apps. It helped to create an 'ice-breaker' between me and several other people, in that it gave us the opportunity to talk about things we both share an interest in. (In my case, whiskey and tech :D ) As more people join the app, I'm finding there's a surprising amount of people out there who are dying to interact with others and make genuine platonic connections without having to dive into the world of 'dating' apps. I'm really excited about the future of our app :) Thanks everyone for checking it out!
